We are excited to offer the Runyan Family Memorial Scholarship again as part of our benefacting at the 13th Annual Smoking Clays Shoot!
Last year was another record year for us to grant scholarships, with 7 total $1,000.00 scholarships being presented. We hope to make this year just as good.
You can now pull up the scholarship application online or from your High School Councilor. And please, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email at:

This year is a little different, we are requiring a copy of your official transcripts, so please don’t forget to include those as it will not be considered a complete application without it.
Also, don’t forget that your application is due by NOON on February 28th, 2026. We also request that if you are awarded the scholarship, that you will attend the lunch/awards ceremony on March 7th, 2026 at Creekside Clays, located at 131 N Firehouse Road, Artesia, NM 88210.
There will be a later date that a meeting with be had with all recipients and pictures of you officially being handed your scholarship check.
